A Christian Woman’s Guide to Business, Wealth, and Tithing
“But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth…” — Deuteronomy 8:18 (KJV)
As a Christian woman in business, you carry a unique calling—to create, influence, and steward wealth not just for personal gain, but for kingdom impact. The world often equates success with self, but we know that all abundance flows from the hand of the Lord. Whether you are just starting your business, scaling your brand, or managing the increase God has entrusted to you, there is a sacred invitation in front of you: to build with purpose, bless others, and believe God for more.
In Proverbs 31, we see a woman who considers a field and buys it. She is not idle; she is intentional. As you lead in your business, remember that your work is a form of worship. It is not separate from your faith—it is a daily opportunity to glorify God.
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might…” — Ecclesiastes 9:10 (KJV)
Let your work ethic, decisions, and innovation reflect your values. Set clear, God-honoring goals. Pray over your plans. Invite the Holy Spirit to be your CEO. When your vision is anchored in purpose, your business becomes a platform for light, not just profit.
Stewardship is more than generosity—it is accountability. Every dollar that flows into your life or business is a trust. How are you using the increase? Are you reinvesting wisely, giving generously, or holding tightly out of fear?
Zig Ziglar once said,
“Money is not the most important thing in life, but it’s reasonably close to oxygen on the ‘gotta have it’ scale.”
Wealth, in and of itself, is neutral. It is your mindset and motives that matter most. The Truth Mindset invites you to confront any scarcity lies you may be believing. God is not holding out on you. He is equipping you to be a channel of His provision in the earth.
Ask yourself:
Am I managing money with clarity or confusion?
Am I partnering with God in how I grow and give?
Am I afraid to prosper because of what others might think?
Godly stewardship starts with surrender. Give your budget, your books, and your beliefs to Him.
Tithing is not an obligation—it is an act of obedience and an expression of trust. When you give the first 10% of your income back to God, you are declaring, “Lord, You are my source.”
“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse… and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts…” — Malachi 3:10 (KJV)
God invites you to prove Him—to test His faithfulness through your giving. And He promises that when you do, He will open the windows of heaven.
Whether you tithe from your personal income or business profits (or both), the heart behind it should always be one of worship. You are not losing money—you are sowing into a kingdom that never runs dry.
You were not called to shrink back. You were called to rise up, build wisely, give boldly, and leave a lasting legacy. Teach your children how to tithe. Talk about money and faith with your team or clients. Break generational strongholds and model what it means to trust God with wealth.
You do not have to choose between success and surrender—you can have both. When Jesus is Lord over your business, He blesses what you build and multiplies what you give.
Truth Mindset Tip:
God desires abundance for His daughters, not just to make them comfortable, but to make them effective. Trade the lie of lack for the truth of His provision.
Affirmation:
“I am a wise steward of wealth. I build my business with purpose, I tithe with joy, and I bless others with what God has given me.”
